Lake le Polle in Riolunato is a small artificial lake taking its name from the place where it is located, at the foot of Mount Cimone.
Like other lakes in the Mount Cimone ski area, in winter it provides water to make artificial snow, while in the summer it is a popular place for recreational fishing.
It is also equipped with picnic and barbecue facilities.
The surrounding area, at an altitude of about 1400 m, is one of the most picturesque and unspoiled in the Apennines and is the ideal place to spend a relaxing day out.
