The Rovinaccia waterfalls near Canevare are a delightful spot for a little peace and quiet surrounded by nature.

Queste piccole cascate si trovano presso la frazione di Canevare, nel territorio di Fanano.

These small waterfalls are located near Canevare, an outlying hamlet of Fanano.
They are easy to reach, and the path leading to the waterfalls is only about 1 km long, round trip.
To get there, we recommend leaving your car in the parking area in front of the cemetery; the signposted path to the waterfalls starts from here.
The name of the waterfalls comes from the landslides or “rubble” caused by the torrent during periods of maximum flow

When to go

The waterfalls offer peace and tranquillity in all seasons, but summer is undoubtedly the best time to appreciate the coolness of the water, the shade of the trees and the natural pools where you can take a dip to cool down.

What to see

Near the waterfalls you can also admire the ruins of an old watermill once powered by the energy of the water.
Stone sculptures line the path leading to the stream.
